EOC Week 9: Three great mission statements

I found these three blog missin statments to be the better one simpley because of how they persented them selfs. with there products they showed that they cared and that they have a market of who they are selling to and know what derction they are going in with there product. in these three mission statments they describe in a clear statment what there product is. some of the gave hint to what there ads sould be like and others gave clear discripion of what it is and one of them one was funny and gave alot of humer to his product.

"people want to be in control of their relationship with a brand"(textbook page #74)The way we plan to aceve these goals are thru ferms that will help us with fundind and the way we can keep a sort of quality control it by doing sevays and asking the people what they think and doing this every once in a while just to keep are selfs fresh and always up to date with not only the qualit of are product but also with how we market are selfs and distribution of our product and doing anything we can to help pervent are product from getting a bad name as well as prevent us from fading from the publics eye."Results are difficult to measure and control"(textbook page #145)" we always need to be a head of the cerve and strive to be different and revolutionary with are one of a knid product. "customers initiate and control the contact"( textbook page #460)You always see these products that come in as a fad and quikly fade away with in a few years so we have to consantly be woking on are self and asking if are product is still what the public not only wants from us but also if we are living up to the name we have made are selfs up to be as, and if not then somthing needs to change but we just cant fall behind the times.thank you and i hoped you wil see what we do in are product as much as we do.

"Today’s squeezed consumers are seeking greater value—just the right combination of good quality and service at a fair price."(textbook page #95)The price for my product will very because of size. so with that being said a large bag will be 3.99, and the cost for one that you would find in a vendin machine would cost 1.25.But of corse the stores have controll of the price once they have bought the product from us but to keep the price from spikingonce it leaves us we will print how much the bag actualy cost. we find that this is the tipical cost for a bag of chips or in are case crisps and we think that this is fair."stock price increases as many consumers have passed up the higher-end goods"(textbook page# 35)

distribution

Distribution is important to us simply because thats how people will purches are product and thats also the way the word will spred on how amazing are product is. so be plan to distribute are product to specality stores such as Trader Jose and BevMo to just get people talking then after that we will try and expane are product to more main streem stores such as the local grocary stores and to big liquer stores then with peolpe behind are product we will make it more accessable thru gas stations and vending machines that are in small bars. thru all of this we just want everyone to get the chance to see how good are product is and have them decide for them selfs because thats the true seal of aproval to us is that the real people love are product and that will also help distribution and sells."It can spur growth through marketing mix improvements—adjustments to its product design, advertising, pricing, and distribution efforts."(textbook page #46)

"Developing separate marketing plans for the separate segments requires extra marketing research, forecasting, sales analysis, promotion planning, and channel management."(textbook page #188)How we plan to promote this product is to of course advertise for it, in such medias such as comercals, magazine ads and maybe some billbourds. Are  slogan "because no great story ever stated with a vegtable" i think that it fits simply because people that socialy dirnk tend to have alot of storys that are normally not normal and always have something crazy happen to them. so it gives the story that the product is to go hand in hand with a alcaholic beverage. the comercals will show people having a good time and having wired things happen to them just like the story on the back of the crisps. so it shows people that if they buy are product there going to have a good tome and that maybe some crazy things will happen to them as well but good crazy things that will make for a good story next time."Finally, the company designs promotion programs that communicate the value proposition to target consumers and persuade them to act on the market offering."(textbook page #31)

"The blog provides a community in which customers can receive tips and share views on money-saving practices and products."(textbook page #8)Our product is simple, we have created a tasty salty smokey snack to go with your favorit adult beveage. In the US they would be known as chips but since we seeked flovors form england they well be called crisps. they will be a baked thick cut of potato seasoned with a smokey meat and gravy flovor this is why they were given the name Bangers and Mash. they are baked so they are some what healthy for you but because of the flavoring it ads salt and fat back into to the snack and this is why they are perfect for when get to gethers that also have alcahol."The blog provides a community in which customers can receive tips and share views on money-saving practices and products." "The art and science of choosing target markets and building profitable relationships with them"(page #9) we plan to maket the younger crowed simply because we would like to product to pair up with alcohalic bevriges and of course the legal drinking age is 21. we plan to reach these people by promoting our selfs in ads that also show liqur in the picture. so your probly aking how we are gettin the word out there well we will do this be airing our ads at a later time and on more adult programing shows such as FX, Comedy Central and adult swim. we will promote more to men because as we know men are the one s that snack the most but we also have to promote to women simoply because if theres a party the one that buys most of the things for the house hold tend to be women. slogan "because no great story ever stated with a vegtable""Strengths include internal capabilities, resources, positive situational factors that may help the company to serve its customers and achieve its objectives."(textbook page #53)

the strengths for our company are that we are something new and great for motiple ocations.
some of the weaknesses are that there is alot of compition and other treats that are also differnt.

"The company’s strategic plan establishes what kinds of businesses the company will operate and its objectives for each."(textbook page #47)The goals or objectives we have for this company is we want our crisps to be in the hand of everyone that also has a drink in there other hand. we want people to be able to go to there local grocry store and not only to buy there favorit beer but to also buy there favorit snack. we want to be everyones favorit midnight snack. we also want to be avalibe every were that way our crisps are on hand at all times. but this wont always be easy there are many other options for a great drinking snack but we will convince people why we sould be there go to midnight snack."The main components of a marketing plan are the executive summary, current marketing situation, threats and opportunities, objectives and issues, marketing strategies, action programs, budgets, and controls."(textbook page #61)

week 7 eoc: the pitch


Place: England

Product: bangers and mash a baked chip that has a smoky meat and gravy flavor

Adventure: Finally we had made it to England I wanted to do some sightseeing when we were there, so I was off to Stonehenge one of the seven wonders of the world. there i was looking at this great wounder and leaned back on one to rest, i could feel it moving and like dominos they all went down. opps. so i as fast as my feet would carry me i was off avoiding every cop and gaurd and bullit that came me way. before i knew it my feet had led me to a small pub were i thought i could hide. i went in and had a seat, a man asked me if i was hungery i said yes and told him to bring me the best thing on the menu. time gos by and he brings me a plate of mashpotatos and sausage with gravy, when the queens gaurds bust inn. i take the plate and hide in the oven. now that i think about it maybe it wasnt a good idea. to no supprise the oven was on. 20 minutes of 125 degree tempeter was really starting to get to me and just in the nick of time the gaurds left and a poped out of the oven along with my plate of what was once delishes now looked like some kind of chip. the owner felt bad for me and pored me a cold one and because i was hungery and couldnt wait for myplate to come out i ate the wiered looking chip and to my suprise it was delisuse. so we made more and bought a round on me.

week 6 eoc: MEx3

what defines me



 I dint feel as if is only tree things that define me, but if i had to choose it would be the pictures above. thw reasons i picked thiese thing form others is because this is were it all starts for me. the drawing impliments is becuase i love my art work and it all starts with my pincel,it also helps the quallity of how my work looks. that is why i perfer prismacolor above all else.the quality of which it is made of is to my liking, its easy to say that i have a bond with this brand that more than likly can not be broken.




 seconed, is my headphones i have had others before from all differnt brands this has to be my fovorit i wouldnt use any other. you may ask why headphones well because my music plays a very important role in my life and in my work, and with out great headphones i wouldnt be able to get the full efect ofmy music.





Last is my scent because its a huge ice braker, i have had it happen multiple times were someone will ask my what i am wearing and it insantly changes peoples moods and expresion.

week 5 eoc: Consumer and Business Buyer Behavior

the consumer buyer behavior is very complicated and very hard to acheve.dispite the difficaltys that come with having a strong bond with your customer there are companys that do it very well, apple happens to be one of them."a company that has gained a cult-like following because it somehow manages to breathe new life into every category it touches" (textbook page 136).apple has secsesfully created an experience for there customers. apples selling point is how you would look and feel using their product,as if using an apple product makes you better then someone using a windows product. even the way thay sell there product makes you feel like you know what your going into by being able to freely play and mess with the products. like i said very few companys can create this great customer bond and thats why when the economy whent bad it really flushed the sestem of the companys that couldnt create this bond. the suprising company or companys that are having this problem is the gaming industrey. the gameing industery normally has a very strong bond with its customers,i feel its because of the rising price of game that go any where from 20 to 80 dollers and now a days we have to decide if we want an 80 doller game or grocrys for the house.

week 4 eoc: business to business

having a relationship with the buyer helps and it also lets them know that they will have good sevice and it makes them feel like they are part of a ellet group. it also them trust you. a good example of companys that do this really well are Apple and GE. Apple sells to the single buyer and companys, no matter what they make you feel like a valued customer how ever big or small your problem they are there to help. just resently i had truble with a video that i had bought from itunes and it wasnt working properly so i let the know what my problem was and they gave me my money back and reported to there team to fix the video. my might have been small but they fixed it and becouse of sevive like this iam a loyal customer. so i can only how bigger companys would feel with there sevices. its all abou the relationship and its not just me saying this heres a quote from the CEO of GE, “I am proud that KTZ and GE are extending our relationship,” said the CEO of GE Transportation. Week 3 EOC: My Demographics

Millennials,my generation.

my generation is hashly critsized and stereotyped but like most stereotypesbit of ,there is a a small hint of truth to these stereotypes.some say that we have no work ethic and that we are to involved with are tecnology and like i said there is a hint of truth to that. i dont beileave that we all have a poor work ethic, its somthing my parents have instilled in me to always be on time and to try my absolute best on every thing i do. how ever i do think that we have become to involved with are tecnology that now it takes up most of are time and are reading and writing skills are suffering for it.   

Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good

krochet kids

i personally love this company, they are a non profit that gos to other countrys and helps women learn the trait of krochet. the women make the product and people can buy them online and the proceds go to the women who made the product. there big seller is there hats but they do make other things. inside each hand made hat is the name of the women who made your hat. you can go on there web site and type the name of the lady who made it and find their story. the founders of this company had it in mind that if the women ever wanted to go on their own and sell what they make they could because now they have a sellable trait. the women that have made my hats are from uganda and peru and they have now started to send their kids to school and live off them selfs and have changed their lifes for the better. in fact this was said by one of the founders,
    Hartanov: "The women hand-sign all their work. We get to know the ladies pretty well and what the program does for them. One, Beatrice, was going from not having enough food to feed her family to dreaming of sending her kids to school, getting a house, starting a business and buying a car. It’s unheard of. She’s already accomplished a lot of those. She’s sent her kids to school and started her own business. Her dignity has been restored."

eoc week 1: Great Customer Service


I believe that great customer service can make or break a business. If they have good customer service you will always want to come back. If the service was bad then one, you won’t come back and two, you will start to tell people that it’s not a good place to go to and that the service was bad. So not only are they losing you but you are ruining their any customers for them later on. a very good evample of good customer service is Zappos. Zappos CEO, Tony Hsieh , “Our whole goal at Zappos is for the Zappos brand to be about the very best customer service and customer experience.” page 3 of the textbook.

week one eoc: my voice


My name is Shelby I am an illustrator with a passion for advertising. As an illustrator I love to put emotion and a story on a page but I found myself getting frustrated because there were never enough mediums to express how I felt about what I was drawing. That’s when I found advertising. Advertising is what some see as wasted time on the T.V or a pop up on their computer. I see it as a way to get to know people and tap in to their emotions and make them feel or see things in a different way. Getting to push a product to a certain age group or class intrigues me and satisfies my needs to always be learning something new. Coming to the Art Institute I hope to advance my skills and learn the ins and outs of my trait. In Advertising I can put music, a story and a message in to 3 minutes and change someone’s life forever. No one ever put money down for something they know nothing about and that’s what an ad does it gives you info and shows you what it looks like and what you could look like in it, with it or wearing it.
